Bolt Studio and boltstudio.io are operated by Adamson Ventures. This page explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to have it removed. Questions or requests: [email protected].

The early-access list

When you join the list we keep your email address and the time you joined. We use it only to contact you about Bolt Studio access. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. Your consent is the basis for this, and you can withdraw it any time by emailing us.

We keep it until we have offered you access or you ask us to remove it, and for no longer than 24 months.

Accounts

Sign-up is invite-only for now. If you have an account, we keep:

  • your name and email address
  • a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself
  • your sign-in sessions, including the IP address and browser each was started from, so you can see and end them
  • if you subscribe, your Stripe customer reference and subscription status

We use this to run your account and your subscription. Payments go through Stripe’s own checkout and billing pages, and we never see your card details. We keep account data while your account is open and delete it when you ask, except what we must keep for tax and accounting.

Keeping the site safe

To limit abuse, the site briefly uses your IP address to count repeated requests, for example several sign-up attempts in a row. These counts are short-lived and are not used for anything else.

The desktop app

Your projects and solver runs stay on your computer. The app sends us no data about your designs or about the tool calls your AI agent makes. Bolt Studio contains no AI: whatever your agent reads from a design goes to the AI provider you chose, under your agreement with them.

Who else handles data

  • Cloudflare carries all traffic to boltstudio.io, so it sees requests, including IP addresses.
  • Stripe processes subscriptions and payments, if you subscribe.
  • Purelymail hosts our email, so it holds anything you send to [email protected].

The site itself runs on our own server.

Cookies

The main site sets no cookies of its own, and we use no analytics or advertising trackers. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
